Hello. Were you all aware that the recent news regarding the Sterigenics plant in Smyrna is 50-100 feet from the proposed trail? Approximately 1/4 mile south of Plant Atkinson Road is the location of the plant that is utilizing and emitting the carcinogenic chemical ethylene oxide. This is a huge problem with our community and should be of grave concern to anyone working on the Connect the Comet project. As a concerned citizen who lives 1/2 mile from that location I would love to hear your thoughts.
